The Society for Combat Archaeology sees itself as an interdisciplinary platform for sharing research and updates on subjects relating to combat/conflict/battlefield archaeology. We are therefore constantly looking for input from the worldwide academic community as well as from non-academics, hoping to promote the discipline at large.
If you have done any research into combat archaeology or combative arts, or have any experience or news about a related issue, it would be interesting for us – and for all of those following the Society for Combat Archaeology – to hear about it. We believe this will encourage dialogues between persons interested in the field (academics and non-academics alike) and allow the work and research interests of individuals from various disciplines become known.
Contributions can take the form of smaller posts, articles or a video clip accompanied by a description. This work will appear with the author’s name and be accompanied by a small bibliographic text as well as contact details for further enquiries.
If you would like to contribute and have some of your work published on www.CombatArchaeology.org – perhaps some of your research or simply a topic that is of great personal interest to you – please don’t hesitate in getting in touch. Topics are not restricted to any particular time period or geographical area.
Please use our contact form or write to rolf@combatarchaeology.org.
