We still have spaces available for our Seminar I.33: Sword and Buckler which is to be held at the Royal Armouries Museum (12-13th May 2018)! The event is open to all and is organized by the Society for Combat Archaeology, Kunst des Fechtens and the Royal Armouries Museum.
These two days are not to be missed! On the menu:
- Hands-on workshops with swords and shields
- Lectures and presentations
- Handling of original arms and world's oldest fencing manual from the museum collection
- 10% discount at the Royal Armouries Museum shop
With instructors and academics from all over Europe - not to mention the curators of the Royal Armouries Museum and the museum collection itself - this event certainly is uniquely interdisciplinary.
